This one came to me when I was at Blackfriars underground station, when I was on the way home one day. I liked all the parallel lines of the platform and the train tracks (which all took ages to draw by the the way, not exactly in keeping with this simple and quick series, number 6 so far and I’m already struggling with that! And then much of it I covered with some beetles…).
So giant stag beetles fighting it out on the underground - that’s all this is really, and why not? Featuring the remnants of a key London instructional phrase, I don’t think anywhere else in the world does this but I hope the AP MI text makes this instantly recognisable.

- Printed with the Ultrachrome HDR archival ink system of the Epson 7890 LFP on Hahnemuehle Giclee German Etching Paper (Matt FineArt – textured paper, 310 gsm, 100% a-Cellulose, white, mould-made)
- Print ships rolled in a cardboard tube
- Frame is not included (just for illustration purposes)
