Winter Solstice (2021)

The 21st December is the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere. It is also the anniversary of Apollo 8, the first manned spacecraft to leave the earth’s orbit and orbit the moon in 1968. Here’s a drawing I did a couple of years ago, this was before I drew the other planets and before I really started my days of the year series… I think this one could do with a another draft, I’m not happy with it anymore, I think I could do it better now (except I don’t have the time!) especially the moon and the earth
